Overview

Wallet Balance Tracker is a free Google Sheets™ Apps Script library developed by buildbyravi and CryptoExplor. It helps you track native cryptocurrency wallet balances across EVM-compatible blockchains directly inside your own Google Sheet. This policy explains what data exists, where it lives, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

What we collect

Information you provide

  • Wallet addresses — public 0x addresses you enter into your Sheet
  • RPC endpoint URLs — blockchain node URLs you configure in row 2

Information we do NOT collect

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Private keys or seed phrases — we never ask for these, never
  • Usage analytics or behavioural tracking
  • Cookies or browser fingerprints
  • Your Google account details

How your data is used

The library operates entirely within your Google Sheets™ environment via Google Apps Script running in your own Google account:

  • Wallet addresses are sent only to the RPC endpoint you configure to query public blockchain balance data
  • Balance results are written back to your Sheet and nowhere else
  • We operate no backend servers that receive, log, or store your wallet data
  • Batch progress is saved temporarily in your sheet's Script Properties — cleared when the batch completes

Data storage

All data lives in your Google Sheet and your Google account's Apps Script properties. We have no database. Google's own Privacy Policy governs how Google handles your Sheets and Apps Script data.

Third-party services

RPC providers

When you fetch balances, wallet addresses are sent to the blockchain node URL you put in row 2 (e.g. Infura, Alchemy, a public RPC like llamarpc.com). Each provider has its own privacy policy. We recommend using reputable providers and reviewing their terms before use.

Google Services

The library uses Google Workspace APIs and runs under your Google account via Apps Script. We request the minimum permissions required — spreadsheet read/write and external HTTP requests to the RPC URL you configure.

Security

  • All RPC communication uses HTTPS
  • The library runs server-side via Google Apps Script inside your Google account — no data passes through our servers
  • We cannot access your Sheet or your wallet addresses at any time
⚠️ Never enter private keys or seed phrases into your Sheet or anywhere in this tool. The library only needs public wallet addresses (0x…).

Your rights

  • Access — your data is always in your own Google Sheet
  • Edit / delete — modify or remove any data in your Sheet at any time
  • Remove the library — unlink the library from Apps Script to stop all functionality
  • Export — use Google Sheets' standard export (CSV, XLSX) at any time

Children's privacy

This tool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

Updates will be posted to this page. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
